A Good Faith Exam (GFE) is a medical examination conducted by a licensed medical professional to assess a patient's current condition and medical history before receiving a treatment. The purpose of the GFE is to determine the patient's eligibility and create a personalized treatment plan that is safe and effective. It is required by Texas law annually before a patient can undergo certain non-invasive cosmetic procedures.
